CURTIS BLAIZE a.k.a. Jus Blaize is a man who takes pride in being leader in this world of followers. Born in Canada, brought up by Trinidadian parents, his household was filled with love and love for music. Being an only child has helped him distinguish himself as an individual, but is also not afraid to ask for help from others. Once focused, he is always determined to come out on top. "I want to be that person people can respect and admire for any job or task well done. Don't you find the strong silent type always seem to take the world by storm? Why? Assessing, strategizing, timing and of course maintaining patience is the key. Keeping in mind, that experience is golden, or now a day platinum ice." Having followed the party scene for quite a number of years, Curtis has seen a lot and learned a lot. As a man who appreciates all types of music, his first loves remains from his roots --- Soca/Calypso! Jus Blaize would like to bring back those days when you would say to yourself, "That was a real nice fete." As a new promoter in the scene, the position as an underdog is not a bad place to be. "People are continuously looking for a constant party to call the Hot Spot and I would like to provide it for them. Whether it is in the Urban, Caribbean or even South American scene, I would like to set the stage and raise the bar for industry standards in throwing parties. Hense, my diversity with parties that I am, have and will be hosting." Although He does not see himself as the final answer, but Curtis is definitely an important and influential variable in the equation. Jus Blaize would like to provide that atmosphere once again for people who share his love for music. Whether it be a party or event in the Urban scene or going back to his West Indian roots and hosting a good Fete, Curtis Blaize would like to bring people of various backgrounds together to celebrate one love ...
